Elisha Phipps is a dynamic Associate Attorney at Monty & Ramirez LLP’s, specializing in labor and employment. With a keen focus on employment law, school law, human resources consulting, and personal injury matters, Elisha brings a wealth of expertise to her clients. She is a formidable defender of employers in a wide array of lawsuits, from wage and hour disputes to complex discrimination allegations. Elisha’s advocacy extends to representing employers before state and federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Her client base spans both public and private sectors, showcasing her versatility and commitment to justice.

Before shifting her focus to employment law, Elisha gained extensive experience in family-based immigration law and criminal defense. This diverse background has provided her with a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the legal challenges faced by individuals and families, enriching her approach to employment law.

Elisha’s legal journey includes a notable clerkship at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., during her law school years.  She graduated from Michigan State College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2012.

Beyond her career, Elisha is a devoted family person who loves spending her free time at baseball parks with her husband and two young children. Her passion for the law is matched only by her dedication to her loved ones and her community.
