“DAPA is a discretionary form of immigration relief. Eligibility for DAPA is determined by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services) on a case-by-case basis. To qualify for DAPA: you must have been physically present, continuously, in the United States since January 1, 2010”.

We are happy to be collaborating with Jason Jimenez Insurance Agency, Inc. and Protectors of the Dream, Inc. to hold an Executive Action immigration seminar tomorrow morning at Houston Baptist University. Our goal is to offer insight on the President’s Executive Order affects Social Security and Insurance, and Protectors of the Dream will be there to open the 2015 DACA grant application process. We are excited to bring this great opportunity to the immigrant community of Houston.

His son, born in January 1999, is a U.S. citizen, and Velasquez has worked and paid taxes in the country since his arrival.
